[ad. L. dēcoct-us, pa. pple. of dēcoqu-ĕre to boil down or away. In earlier use, both as pple. and adj., than decoct v., after the introduction of which this continued for some time as its pa. pple., till gradually superseded by the regular decocted.]

1. To boil down or away; to concentrate by boiling. Obs.
