1973W. J. Chin et al. in Jrnl. Chem. Soc.: Perkin Trans. i. 1437 Ten new triterpenes, derived from a new triterpane system for which the name stictane is proposed, have been isolated from the hexane extractives of the lichens named in the title [sc. Sticta coronata, etc.]. 1976Ibid. 857/1 Stictane..and the related flavicane..have an 8α-methyl group and a boat structure for ring b rather than the usual 8β-methyl group and chair ring b, hitherto found in pentacyclic triterpenoids. 1979Org. Mass Spectrometry XIV. 160/1 We present detailed analysis of the mass spectral fragmentations of ten stictane triterpenoids. |
