denticle, n. (a.)|ˈdɛntɪk(ə)l| [ad. L. denticulus, dim. of dent-em tooth. Cf. denticule.] 1. A small tooth or tooth-like projection. (In quot. 1391, a pointer on the ‘rete’ of the astrolabe.)
