dextrality|dɛkˈstrælɪtɪ| [f. prec. + -ity.] 1. The condition of having the right side differing from the left.
1646Sir T. Browne Pseud. Ep. iv. v. 187 If there were a determinate prepotency in the right..wee might expect the same in other animals, whose parts are also differenced by dextrality. Ibid. 191 This doth but peti[ti]onarily inferre a dextrality in the heavens. 2. The use by preference of the right hand, and the limbs of the right side generally; right-handedness.
