streptodornase Pharm. and Biochem.|strɛptəʊˈdɔːneɪz| [f. streptococcal a. + deoxyribonuclease.] A deoxyribonuclease, or a group of such enzymes, produced by some streptococci and used in conjunction with streptokinase to bring about the dissolution of purulent and fibrinous exudates.
