1880G. M. Hopkins Lett. to R. Bridges (1955) 107, I think you have missed the clue. You take the rhythm for three triple time, iambs and anapaests say, and four feet to a line (except the refrain). But to get this you have to skip..a whole foot as marked and stressy as any other foot. 1961Times Lit.
