diadochite Min.|daɪˈædəkaɪt| [mod. f. Gr. διάδοχος (see prec.) + -ite. Named by Breithaupt in 1837, from his belief that phosphorus had succeeded arsenic in its composition.] Hydrous phosphate and sulphate of iron, of brown or yellowish colour and resinous appearance.
