‖ diaphoresis Med.|ˌdaɪəfɒˈriːsɪs| [L. diaphorēsis, a. Gr. διαϕόρησις a sweat, perspiration, f. διαϕορεῖν to carry off, spec. to throw off by perspiration, f. δια- through + ϕορεῖν to carry.] Perspiration; especially, that produced by artificial means.
