dimetric, a. Cryst.|daɪˈmɛtrɪk| [f. Gr. δι-, δίς twice + µέτρον measure + -ic: cf. metric.] Applied to a system of crystals having three axes at right angles, the two lateral axes being equal to each other but unequal to the vertical axis; = tetragonal.
