subˈindicate, v. [f. pa. ppl. stem of late L. subindicāre: see sub- 22 and indicate v.] trans. To indicate indirectly; to hint. So subindiˈcation, a slight indication or token; subinˈdicative a., indirectly indicative or suggestive. (All Obs. or arch.)
