sugillate, suggillate, v. Now rare or Obs.|ˈs(j)uːdʒɪleɪt, ˈsʌdʒ-| [f. L. sūgillāt-, sugg-, pa. ppl. stem of sūgillāre (see prec.).] 1. trans. = prec. 1. Chiefly Med. in pa. pple., marked with livid spots or patches, bruised.
