‖ Rasores Ornith.|rəˈsɔəriːz| [mod.L., pl. of rāsor agent-n. f. rādĕre to scrape, rase v.1] The name given by Illiger (1811) to his Fourth Order of birds, comprising those which obtain their food by scratching the ground.
