suscitation Now rare.|sʌsɪˈteɪʃən| [ad. late L. suscitātio, -ōnem, n. of action f. suscitāt-, -āre: see prec. and -ation. Cf. F. suscitation, in OF. = resurrection.] The action of suscitating or condition of being suscitated; stirring up, rousing, excitement; quickening; incitement.
