actualité, n. (ˌæktʃuːælɪˈteɪ, ‖ aktyalite) [a. F. actualité topicality, news.] a. sing. Topical interest, relevance, immediacy; also, truth (this sense not found in French). Also attrib. b. pl. News, current affairs, events from real life.
