drive-through, n. and a. Chiefly N. Amer.|ˈdraɪvθruː| Also drive-thru. [f. drive v. 5 c.] A. n. A restaurant, shop, etc., having a counter or window to which customers may drive in order to be served; cf. drive-in n.; also attrib., as drive-through window, etc. B. adj. Designating a service, restaurant, etc., affording facilities for driving through, or a place (as a wildlife park) through which one may drive.
