dubious, a.|ˈdjuːbɪəs| [ad. L. dubiōs-us doubtful, f. dubium doubt, neuter of dubius doubtful.] 1. Objectively doubtful; fraught with doubt or uncertainty; uncertain, undetermined; indistinct, ambiguous, vague.
