dyskaryosis, n. Med. Brit. |ˌdɪskarɪˈəʊsɪs|, U.S. |ˈˌdɪskɛriˈoʊsəs| [‹ dys- prefix + karyo- comb. form + -osis suffix.] Abnormality of the nucleus of a cell, esp. as an indication of malignant or premalignant change in a vaginal smear or other cytological preparation.
