sycophantic, a.|sɪkəˈfæntɪk| [ad. Gr. σῡκοϕαντικός, f. σῡκοϕάντης sycophant.] a. Having the character of, or characteristic of, a sycophant; meanly flattering; basely obsequious. b. Calumnious, slanderous.
