adevism|ˈædɪvɪz(ə)m| [f. Gr. ἀ priv. + Skr. dēva god + -ism.] A term introduced by Prof. Max Müller, to express a disbelief in the legendary deity or deities, as distinguished from atheism or disbelief in a God.
