prismatid, a. (n.) Cryst. rare.|ˈprɪzmətɪd| [f. Gr. πρισµατ-, stem of πρίσµα prism + -id2.] Applied to a crystalline form consisting of faces parallel to an axis and thus constituting the sides of a geometrical prism. b. n. A prismatid form.
