Tappertitian, a. rare.|tæpəˈtɪʃən| [f. the name of Simon Tappertit, a conceited apprentice in Dickens's Barnaby Rudge (1841) + -ian.] Characteristic of or resembling Tappertit, esp. in his amorous approaches to Dolly Varden.
