engouled, a. Her.|ɛnˈguːld| [ad. Fr. engoulée, fem. pa. pple. of engouler, f. en in + OF. goule (F. gueule) mouth (of a beast). The mod. Dicts. give the Fr. form engoulée.] An epithet applied to bends, crosses, saltiers, etc., the extremities of which enter the mouths of animals.
