tautologize, v.|tɔːˈtɒlədʒaɪz| [f. tautology + -ize. (The Gr. equivalent was ταὐτολογεῖν.) Cf. apologize.] intr. To repeat the same thing in the same or different words; to use tautology. Also with it (quot. 1656).
