Tchaikovskian, a. and n.|tʃaɪˈkɒfskɪən| Also Tchaikovskyan, Tschaikowskian. [f. the name of Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840–93), Russian composer + -ian.] A. adj. Of, pertaining to, or characteristic of Tchaikovsky or his style. B. n. One who favours or imitates the style of Tchaikovsky.
