telepoint, n.|ˈtɛlɪpɔɪnt| Also Telepoint. [f. tele- + point n.1] A British public service which connects certain cordless telephones with the conventional telephone network by means of a short-range radio link to a nearby base station; also, any one of the network of base stations which provides this facility.
