† epilogism Obs. [ad. Gr. ἐπιλογισµός f. ἐπιλογίζεσθαι of twofold sense and formation (1) to reckon over or in addition, f. ἐπί over + λογίζεσθαι to reckon; (2) see epilogize.] 1. a. Calculation, computation; concr. number reckoned. b. Excess in reckoning.
