‖ epimeron Anat.|ɛpɪˈmɪərən| Pl. epimera. [f. Gr. ἐπί upon + µηρός thigh.] That part of the lateral wall of a somite of a crustacean which is situated between the articulation of the appendage and the pleuron. Also in Insecta (see quot. 1964).
