epipteric, a. Anat.|ɛpɪpˈtɛrɪk| [f. Gr. ἐπί upon + πτερόν wing + -ic.] epipteric bone or epipteric ossicle, a small Wormian bone sometimes found between the parietal and the great wing of the sphenoid. Also as n. = epipteric bone.
