Erebus Myth.|ˈɛrɪbəs| Also 6 erron. erobus. [a. L. Erebus, a. Gr. Ἔρεβος; ? cogn. with Goth. riqis darkness.] The proper name of ‘a place of darkness, between Earth and Hades’ (Liddell and Scott); often used in phrase dark as Erebus.
