‖ testicardines, n. pl. Zool.|ˌtɛstɪˈkɑːdɪniːz| [mod.L., f. testa shell + cardo (cardin-) hinge.] A primary division of brachiopods, having hinged shells; opposed to Ecardines. Hence testiˈcardine a. rare, testiˈcardinate a., having a hinged shell.
