euphroe Naut.|ˈjuːfrəʊ| Also uphroe, uvrou, uvrow. [a. Du. juffrouw, also juffer dead-eye, lit. ‘maiden’; the equivalent Ger. jungfer, Da. jomfrue, Sw. jungfru are used in same sense.] A crow-foot dead-eye; see quot.
