tetrahedroid, a. and n.|tɛtrəˈhiːdrɔɪd, -ˈhɛdrɔɪd| [f. as prec. + -oid.] a. adj. Resembling or approaching the form of a tetrahedron. b. n. Geom. The envelope of a quadric surface which touches eight given straight lines.
