thaumaturgy|ˈθɔːmətɜːdʒɪ| [ad. Gr. θαυµατουργία wonder-working, conjuring, f. thaumato- + -εργος working: see -y. So F. thaumaturgie (1878 in Dict. Acad.).] The working of wonders; miracle-working; magic.
