‖ thelycum|ˈθiːlɪ-, ˈθɛlɪkəm| Pl. thelyca. [mod.L., ad. Gr. θηλυκόν, neuter of θηλυκός feminine, f. θῆλυ-ς female.] Name for a structure on the ventral surface of the thorax in the female of certain macrurous crustaceans.
