‖ Theobroma Bot.|θiːəʊˈbrəʊmə| [mod.L., f. Gr. θεός god + βρῶµα food.] A genus of low trees, of which one species, Theobroma Cacao, a native of tropical America, and now naturalized in other warm countries, is the source of cocoa and chocolate.
