expeditor, n. (Formerly at expedite v.)|ˈɛkspɪdaɪtə(r)| Also expediter. [f. expedite v. + -or: see also -er1.] One who or that which expedites; spec. in Comm. (orig. U.S.), a person employed to ensure that a commercial assignment is performed efficiently, esp. by overseeing the progress of work or the movement of goods.
