1. One who or that which thwacks; a beater; spec. an implement for beating half-dried pantiles into shape on the thwacking-frame.
1867Ure Dict. Arts, etc. III. 902 When half-dry the tiles are taken out one by one, placed on the thwacking frame, and beaten with the thwacker to produce the required shape.1877Knight Dict.
