thymo-nucleic, a. Physiol. Chem.|ˌθaɪməʊnjuːˈkliːɪk| [f. Gr. θύµο-ς thymus + nucleic.] Of or pertaining to the nuclein of the thymus gland; in thymo-nucleic acid, either of two or more nucleic acids, which can be isolated from the cells of the thymus; now identified with DNA.
