† to-fly, v. Obs. Forms: see fly v.1 [OE. tofléoᵹan, f. to-2 + fléoᵹan fly v.1; = OHG. zefliogan, MHG. zevliegen.] intr. To fly in different directions, to be dispersed in flight; also, to fly to pieces, be shattered.
