‖ topchee|ˈtəʊptʃiː| Also 7 topagee, toptchi, 9 topechee, topdji, topgi; topgey. [Hind. topcī, Pers. topchī, Turk. topçu artilleryman, f. Pers., Turk. top gun, cannon.] A term used in the former Ottoman Empire for a gunner or artilleryman.
