reborrowing, vbl. n.|riːˈbɒrəʊɪŋ| [f. reborrow v. + -ing1.] The action of the vb. reborrow (esp. in Philol.); also, that which is reborrowed.

Jackson Lang. & Hist. Early Brit. ii. 332 Förster notes that the AS. form of Nene is spelt five times in Peterborough documents as Nyn, and regards this as a re-borrowing. 1979Amer.
