‖ trama Bot.|ˈtreɪmə, ˈtrɑːmə| [L. trāma woof, weft, filling of a web.] The substance between the surfaces of the ‘gills’ of hymenomycetous fungi. Also called intralamellar substance, dissepiment. Hence ˈtramal a. (Cent. Dict. 1891).
