Traminer|trəˈmiːnə(r)| [a. Ger., f. Tramin (It. Termeno), the name of a village in N. Italy.] The name of any of several varieties of vine and grape widely grown in Germany, Alsace, and elsewhere; the white wine with perfumed bouquet produced from this grape. Also attrib.
