1. trans. To change into a different body or substance; to transubstantiate.
1570Foxe A. & M. (ed. 2) 1314/1 Not withstandyng that y⊇ substance of bread and wyne was nowe banished out of the Sacrament, and vtterly transcorporated into the substance of Christes very body and bloud: yet was not this body eleuated..nor adored..till the dayes of Pope Honorius the 3.
2. intr. To migrate from one body to another; to transmigrate. Hence † transˈcorporating ppl. a., holding the doctrine of transmigration.
