‖ tresette (‖ treˈsɛtte, treɪˈsɛt) Also trisette, trissett, tresset. [Ital. tresette, f. tre three, sette seven, F. tré-sept.] An Italian card-game for four persons, played with a pack of 40 cards (the 8, 9, and 10 of each suit being excluded), in which the 3 and 7 are the winning cards.
