trifacial, a. Anat.|traɪˈfeɪʃəl| [f. tri- + facial.] A name for the fifth pair of cranial nerves (also called trigeminal), which divide into three branches supplying the face and some adjacent parts. Also transf. pertaining to or affecting the trifacial nerves.
