Furby, n. Brit. |ˈfəːbi|, U.S. |ˈfərbi| [Invented name, probably ‹fur n.1 + -by suffix.] A proprietary name for: a small furry electronic toy animal, which is capable of responding to external stimuli by moving and ‘speaking’ a vocabulary composed of English and an invented language.
