tritiated, a. Chem.|ˈtrɪtɪeɪtɪd, -ʃɪeɪtɪd| [f. tritium + -ate3 + -ed2.] Containing tritium; having had an atom of ordinary hydrogen replaced by tritium. So tritiˈation, the introduction of tritium into a compound or molecule in place of ordinary hydrogen.
