truncage Hist.|ˈtrʌŋkɪdʒ| [ad. med.L. truncāgium, f. L. truncus trunk: see -age.] The furnishing of a trunk of a tree for the king's hearth, as a condition of the tenure of certain lands, e.g. at Bamburgh.
