glycocoll Chem.|ˈglaɪkəkɒl, ˈglɪkəkɒl| Also glycicol(l, glykokoll. [f. glyco- + Gr. κόλλα glue; perh. suggested by the sound of glycocholic.] A crystalline substance contained in bile and formed when glycocholic acid and hydrochloric acid are boiled together. Also called gelatin-sugar.
